15u Knights Bow Out After Tough 1-0 Loss to Taconic Rangers in Semi Finals

After a 2 win seeding round, tough Luck Loser Kyle Wilson Pitches Well But Knights 15u Can't Find Enough Runs In 1-0 Loss To Taconic Rangers 15U in "Big Finale" Semi Final at the CT Sportsplex in North Branford, CT.

Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound on Sunday, but Taconic Rangers 15U was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Knights 15U on Sunday. The Knights had a couple chances to knot the score but were unable to capitalize against the Rangers’ tough left hander.

Wilson started the game for the Knights and recorded 21 outs. He pitched his way out of some early trouble to give the Knights a chance at victory.

Austin Rhodes earned the win for Taconic Rangers 15U. Rhodes surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out nine.

Wilson took the loss for the Knights. Wilson allowed six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out three.

Nick Wolf and Cole Varano each collected one hit to lead the Knights.

Anthony Castaldi led the Rangers with two hits in two at bats. Taconic Rangers Fall 15U was sure-handed and did not commit a single error and In the Championship game the Rangers routed the Tri County Bombers 13-0.
