The 13u New England Knights have only lost 2 regular season games this season, and it's no surprise says Head Coach Jordan Zima. "This group of 13s and 14s has been consistently the most dedicated group I've had in my time with the Knights. It reminds me of the Knights teams I played on when I was here in middle and high school. Just hard working, blue collar type players that make the routine plays and don't make excuses for poor performance," says Zima.

"Since the winter, they have dedicated themselves to executing the little things as perfectly as possible-- and that's a hard concept for kids to understand today. From our pick plays, defensive positioning and always trying to be in the right spot because you are mentally going through each scenario before it happens. When you do the little things right, the big things start to take care of themselves and they are now seeing the results of their work."

The 13u Knights regular season concludes the middle of July with playoffs to follow.

"We want to finish up strong mentally and physically, and keep our momentum headed into the playoffs. A baseball game is a baseball game whether its preseason or playoffs, so added pressure is created in people's minds in the postseason. We show up and do what I know we can, we'll be just fine" said Zima.
